Stupid Design and my opinion about religions.

There you go.. proof that there is no such thing as Intelligent Design. Or God for that matter.

I've been reading up on religion and facts and I'm now even more convinced that there is no such thing as a God. It's all been invented by people who used historic happenings to create a religion. Look at Jesus Christ. He actually existed, I'm sure about that, but he was probably a person who did a lot of good things, kind of like Martin Luther King.. who got killed as well by the way. There's nothing Godly about it though. That's what the church made of it.

And why is there so much objection from the Christian community for not believing in God? I mean, they don't believe in Buddha (although Buddhism may not be a religion per-se), Allah (although that may be the same God than God...), Kami (Shintoism) etc.. of course this is also vice-versa. So, what's so different of me not believing in God (or any other fictional super being)?

Yes, I do acknowledge that there's more than what we know and see. But that is mainly because our human senses are not developed enough to see/hear/feel them/it. Some animals can actually see infrared. We can't. Animals can sense earthquakes coming long before we even notice them. Dogs can smell stuff we don't even know is there. See my point? We're limited in our senses. Maybe evolution will make us more sensitive to things we don't know about at the time.

George Carlin (RIP) has a nice piece about religion as well:

What happened to the MobileMe real-time search?

Maybe I'm imagining things, but wasn't MobileMe going to have a
real-time, almost real spotlight like search where results would pop up
as you type? The main Apple site has this:
> Well, this isn't the case in MobileMe unfortunately. I guess with all
the hoopla about the pushing and stability, this has been forgotten? On
the other hand, we got another extension, I guess within that period
many problems will be solved and maybe the promised features will be
implemented as well.

N.E.R.D. Seeing Sounds

I'm not a big fan of R&B and HipHop, but Pharrell Williams et al produce
some nice rythms, mainly because there's a real guitar in many songs :)
Here's the 1st song of their album .. The song is called "time for some
action"

It's a rip I downloaded from internet.. sound quality isn't all too good, I notice. I guess I'll just order the album through iTunes.

Yup

Well, I'm convinced. From now on I'll be using Posterous for my blogging needs. There are still a few things I'd like to see happening (keywords/tags, scheduled posting, css theming) but already this very clean system has captured me :-)

I do hope it will remain a clean, lean and smart system and not grow too much into a fat bulky CMS. But I think the intention of posterous is to remain lean&mean anyway.
