There are quite a few interesting comments from Stringer, for instance regarding the Sony Ericsson collaboration. Maybe that will stop.. I really hope so, since they've gone downward in usability ever since Sony became SE.

Spaceref reports that laptops on the ISS space station are infected with the W32.Gammima.AG worm.:

• W32.Gammima.AG worm; This is a level 0 gaming virus intended to gather personal information.
• Virus was never a threat to any of the computers used for cmd and cntl and no adverse effect on ISS Ops.
• Theory is virus either in initial software load or possibly transferred from personal compact flash card.
• Working with Russians (and other partners) regarding ground procedures to protect flown equipment in the future.
• It was noted that most of the IP laptops and some of the payload laptops do NOT provide virus protection/detection software

Well, I bet one of the astronauts got bored, took his USB stick and loaded an infected document on the computers. Just confess already!

Using T-Mobile Netherlands 3G (2048kbs according to their specs. Close enough!) Latency is quite high though, I guess playing multi-player Doom is out of the question :-)
