iPhone and podcasts

It is tedious to sync my iPhone with iTunes to refresh podcasts.
Is there a way to subscribe podcasts directly through the phone? Apart
from getting it through an RSS stream (that works, but offers no way to
store the podcast on the phone for listening later)..

Almost a month on posterous

And I'm still diggin' it! Easy, fast and fun. I've asked for personalized CSS possibilities, but I
may skip that anyway. I've come to like the simple, well readable design of posterous.com.

In the meantime, I've been browsing the web quite a bit and bumped into http://drop.io. Maybe it's old news for y'all (its been online for quite a while), for me its new. And me like. Just as posterous, drop.io is easy, fast and fun.

I may start using the combination of posterous and drop.io for my (future) students/classes. It's way cool!

Weather outside is ok, last week was more like Autumn, and actually I'm looking forward to Autumn.. I like the in-between seasons Spring and Autumn most. In Autumn I always get a bit nostalgic for some reason.

On a completely different note. Here's me, all bubbly under water. No, water doesn't make you look like a fat ass, really.

iPhone 3G and photo sending

I love my iPhone (except the borked GPS on mine.. have to return it, but I wait for a firmware update first to see if that maybe solves it. I can't live without it anymore :)), but one thing bugs the hell out of me: its inability to send photos in full resolution. All images are resized to (approx) 800x600 pixels before sending. Doesn't matter if you're sending to an email address (posterous!) or uploading to your MobileMe account (which is essentially the same as mailing, since it's done through the email app).

So, I've been looking for options. Unfortunately there are NONE. Yes, of course there are a lot of apps that upload full sized images to some place on the web (like Flickup, which I just downloaded just because there's no other option at the moment than using my flickr account for now).

It seems that the Mail.app does the resizing before sending.. At least, it seems that way. Now, could there be a place (some hidden .prefs or so?) where you can hack the resolution of an image? Does anyone know? I don't want to jailbreak the phone and put Sendit on it though. So it'll have to be Flickup and Flickr for now, instead of emailing full sized images to posterous. OTOH, that's not always needed anyway. But My MobileMe gallery (fwiw: http://gallery.me.com/marco.frissen ) should at least receive the full sized images.

Bugger!

Oh Posterous guys, if you release an API, I'm sure a smart fellow(ess) can come up with a tool like Flickup to send images directly to Posterous..
