small update MobileMe

Nothing big. Just the added "news" to the toolbar (which is essentially a replacement for the MM blog they introduced back in July). Not sure if anything else has changed. (Speed sure didn't improve)

Another free 60 days MobileMe

Just in from Apple, of course the apple blogs already have this news. I'm pretty happy to share anyway :-)

Zeer slechte zaak T-Mobile!

Milky Way above the trees..

A few weeks ago I was in the South of Germany and even though most
nights weren't very good I was able to view the skies at some point in
time. Where I live, light pollution destroys the view of the Milky Way
mostly, but in the Alps, the skies were dark and I was excited to see
the Milky Way across the whole sky. It's amazing.
I tried to capture it in a couple of photos (luckily I had a tiny travel
tripod with me), here's a sample:

You can see the Milky Way between the two trees, rising frmo the
mountain top in the background. Unfortunately behind me there was a
street light, so the trees are actually brighter than I'd like them to
be.. Oh well, the experience is burned into my brain of course.
