NYC here I come

Ah, sometimes life is good. From the 21st to the 26th of October I'll be in New York. Together with the Bibble Labs guys I'll be showing Bibble 5 to the PhotoPlus expo visitors from 23-25 Oct. I have a bit of spare time to have a look around town, but I'll probably pass on the traditional tourist areas.
As a Macgeek I will most certainly visit the Apple Store and I also may go out and get myself the Olympus ZD 9-18mm lens from B&H or some other store.. Any tips on that??

What do my Posterous friends think are must-see locations.. I prefer people over monuments and buildings by the way ;-) Maybe I should just go to central park and watch people? Anything I should be aware of when photographing?

Brad Pitt shoots Angelina

Maybe it's not very well known, but Brad Pitt is actually a pretty good photographer. Now, the media are all hyping because of the images the couple have released, which are so-called "snapshots".
Well, take a look at the pictures and you'll see he's not the worst photographer around (of course, the model helps a lot too :))

However, he's been shooting since 1999-2000 and for instance has shot for the "Greene & Greene: The Blacker House" interior design book. Although I think he is probably better off photographing people.
