Starmap 1.1 released

New in 1.1:

 

  • Correct Saturn rings orientation and an additional view, closer to the planet.
  • Users can add and store up to 20 locations.
  • Autolocation is improved.
  • Autolocation sets the time zone automatically. The user can modify it anytime.
  • Autolocation at launch.
  • More cities coordinates (200 US and Canadian cities added).
  • Some stars and constellations names corrected.
  • User settings constellation names are now reflected in the ephemeris, only latin today.
  • A double tap on the screen sets the field of view to maximum.
  • A single taps how informations about the couched object.
  • Constellation names are displayed with a lighter color.
  • Sun is drawn larger.
  • Full night vision for the interface (not only the night lamp).
  • The status bar can be hidden.
  • Searching for Moon and Sun.
  • Searching/Locating from the ephemeris planet information.
  • Transit times will be added to the ephemeris.
  • The accelerometer now controls the azimuth.
  • More images if deep field objects.
  • Some corrections related to daylight savings.
  • The ecliptic and celestial equator are drawn with a thinner line.
  • Full localization in Dutch, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish
