a night at NYC

Wellll... just got back from a night NYC
actually evening. For me it's now about 8.00am in the morning, but locally it's about 2.00am. So I guess, the real partying is still starting.

Anyway. After dinner a couple of guys (me included) went to the Meat Packig district in NYC. Sounds like a gay gathering place, but supposedly Chelsea is the gay place to be. Whatever, as long as everyone is happy, who cares, right? Chelsea is a nice place to be actually, I noticed a dutch couple when looking for a restaurant. Dutch gay couple of course. Dressed in black leather. Ok, be gay whenever you want, but I mean, there's no point in emphasising the obvious. So, black leather, even if you're gay, is a big no-no. Even if you drive a motorcycle. There, I said it. :-)

Anyway, after dinner we went back to the hotel, and on to Plunge, which is a very posh club on top of the Gansevoort hotel at 9th Ave, 13th St. Posh and hot. DAMN, I wished the girls would be in bikini.. Way too warm. And really expensive, even for NYC standards. 10 shots of whatever (contained alcohol, who cares what the name is) was about 150 US$.. fuck off, way too expensive.
Met a funny couple there, Greg and his "girlfriend" who wasn't, but she was hot hot hot. Although typical brainless blonde. "I'm hot, I know it, who needs brains". Whatever. Superficial. Disposable girls, I guess.
So Greg was an attention whore and treated all of us.. well, the closest people around on shots. I guess it was wodka something. Pussy drinks, really. I could drink a bottle of that stuff and still drive NASCAR. $150 sir.. geez, poor Greg. He was cool, a bit sad he didn't really "have" the girlfriend.. I forgot her name, I think it was Erin. Blonde, great body, expert in hairclips. Wearing bright red nail polish. Big no-no for blondes. Too cheap. Probably intentionally.

Anyway, after the Plunge (nice drinks, too posh, too expensive, great location, too warm and fucking PLASTIC glasses!) we went to the Hog Pit. Bar, LOUD rock music, voloptuous bar girls with cleavages from NYC to Amsterdam.. DAMN! Unfortunately we were into scotch, after the pussy Wodka Sour drinks (lemonade people, lemonade!), but they only had some blended bourbon crappy shit, so we decided to opt for an irish whisky and get off back to the hotel. Have to get up early I guess.

Still, nice drinks. Funny no-one noticed I'm not from the US. I guess my english is quite ok. Madison guessed I was from Alabama. Sure. Most US people think I'm from Canada. Close enough :-)

For lunch, Irish pub/restaurant Oldcastle at 160W 54th St. is pretty good. And the pub Stout NYC 133W 33rd St has Smithwicks and an excellent Fish&Chips.

Off to bed now :-)

I always thought you're from west Texas because of the accent, boots and cowboy hat........
