A friend photographer tipped me to try out fotologue.jp. It's a japanese photo hosting, social community like site. The interface is very slick and the galleries show up very very nice. Unfortunately, the site is still mainly in japanese, which is a bit rusty in my case (even though I studied japanese language for a year... years ago), but the main photo area is english.
